That Beyoncé is gorgeous goes without saying, but why and how did she manage to woo the world? We speak to beauty expert and make up Emma Osborne to find out what makes her so beautiful. She’s a success: Amid all her success, Beyoncé has managed to stay clear of drama. She’s been famous since her teens yet hasn’t been involved in a single drug, alcohol or rehab related incident. The girl can sing, dance and even do the two simultaneously without relying on playback or anti depressants. She’s just had a baby and her four-year marriage to rapper Jay-Z is still going strong (the comparison to Britney Spears was not intentional).
Her crazy hair: Beyoncé was rocking beach blonde locks way before Rihanna. We don’t know how much she spends on hair extensions, but it’s money well spent.
Almond shaped eyes: Beauty expert Emma Osborne explains how a lot of Beyoncé’s beauty is in her eyes: “her eyes are the perfect almond shape and her make up is always soft and tonal which enhances her natural coloring,” she says. From the one picture of baby Blue Ivy Beyoncé posted on her blog, we have a feeling she’s inherited her mother’s look.
She’s sexy but low key: “I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels. Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords,” the singer told People. If Victoria Beckham hadn’t insisted on wearing heels despite a slipped disk and baby N.4, she could be on the list. Beyoncé is behaving like a mother, not a super star and we respect her for that.
Her face is flawless: According to Osborne, Beyoncé’s oval, symmetrical face has soft round contours that make her appear relaxed and welcoming. That and her flawless skin combine to create her beautiful face, “her skin has a warm honey tone, a color everyone tries to achieve either by using tanning products or sunbeds. When it comes to make up, she chooses light reflective products in tones of browns, gold and pink, creating an illusion of a glowing complexion. She often applies peach on the apple of her cheeks to get a soft glow and add youthfulness to her face and applies natural toned lip glosses to make her lips look fuller,” she tells Metro.
Her ‘normal’ post-baby body: Beyoncé has a body all new mothers can relate to. The singer even admitted to People that having given birth, she now feels ‘more beautiful than ever’. She’s got thighs, hips and a bum she’s not afraid to hide. Osborne believes Beyoncé is the ‘epitome of beauty’, “her curvy body represents a sexy womanly shape and this helps us embrace our own bodies,” she says.
